Coach Supervision

A super-visor creates for the coach:

  • A safe place to reflect and explore ideas, concerns and successes
  • A chance to renew and hone coaching tools/skills
  • An open forum for frank discussion
  • An opportunity to shed light on specific interventions
  • A space to dispel collusion and explore hidden agendas
  • A forum to generate new insights, reveal hidden strengths and explore development areas.

A super-visor is able to:

  • Move in or out of the system
  • Be a part of that system but have an objective overview
  • See what is working well and not so well
  • Address concerns around issues of conflict and confidentiality
  • Bring to light aspects that may have been overlooked
  • Confront limiting perceptions and confidence issues
  • Promote trust and ethical practice
  • Ensure quality enhancement
